Together with a "myth storyteller," you will visit power spots such as the Misogi Pond, which is said to be the birthplace of mythology, and Eda Shrine.
It comes with a charm from Eda Shrine, which enshrines Izanagi-no-Mikoto, the god who created the country.
Eda Shrine

This ancient shrine, whose name appears in the Engishiki, a book written in the early 10th century, enshrines Izanagi-no-Mikoto and Izanami-no-Mikoto, who are said to be Japan's first married couple. In recent years, it has become a popular healing spot, attracting many visitors.
This place's name appears at the beginning of the "norito" (prayer) recited at shrines all over the country. When Izanagi no Mikoto followed Izanami no Mikoto to the underworld, he washed his body in pure water while chanting a norito (prayer), purifying himself of the impurities of the underworld, and so this place is said to be the birthplace of purification rituals and norito (prayer prayers).
There are also two sacred trees said to have great powers: one is the Ogatamanoki (Inviting Spirits Tree) planted to the left of the shrine, which bears red berries and appears in the legend of Ama-no-Iwato, and the other is a large camphor tree, and it is said that touching the knob at the bottom of the tree will bring you good fortune.
※Prayer
"The most awe-inspiring deity, Izanagi, was purified at Awagihara in Tachibana no Koto in Hyuga, Tsukushi..."
Misogi Pond

About a five-minute walk north from Eda Shrine, in the Awakihara Forest Park Citizens' Forest adjacent to SEAGAIA, you will find Misogi Pond (Oike). This spring-fed pond is a beautiful sight to behold, with yellow water lilies blooming in the summer.
It is said that this is the place where Izanagi-no-Mikoto, the god of creation who appears in Japanese mythology, performed a purification ritual to purify himself of the impurities of the underworld where he followed his deceased companion Izanami-no-Mikoto to after he passed away.
