Although it is a flat course that unfolds through Black Pine Forest and offers a sense of freedom,
It is better to create a hazard by leaving one pine tree than by building one bunker.
We challenge nature on a course that remains as pristine as possible.
Not only can you enjoy the resort atmosphere, but it is also full of strategy.
It will satisfy the desires of all golf lovers.
Course Designer: Tom Watson

When I first came here, I was overwhelmed by the paradise-like nature.
Blue skies, a warm climate, and countless pine forests stretching out as far as the eye could see—it was a surprise. And just as I had hoped, "I want to design a course that spans a pine forest," my ideal course was completed.
Beautiful, strategic, and easy to play, it also challenges the high-level player.
I would encourage everyone who loves golf to play.
Because it's the only course in the world named after me.

Renewal while keeping Tom Watson's ideas intact
This is because of the genius of Tom Watson, who originally designed this course. He really put a lot of thought into it, and personally, I prefer the Watson Course to PHOENIX COUNTRY CLUB because it's fun and very strategic.
One of the key points of this remodeling is the concept of making the course enjoyable for golfers of all levels. It's not just about giving the impression of being difficult or easy, but going a bit further, so that even single players will feel motivated to take on the challenge. Conversely, even truly beginner female golfers should be able to achieve scores of par or bogey on some holes. With that desire in mind, I racked my brains to come up with a course like this.
Watson is a world-class golfer and has a deep knowledge of course design, so his original concept is a world-class strategic design. That's why I love it so much. It's fun to aim for points, not just relying on the accuracy of your shots, but also on course management.
Without changing the original concept, I chose a way to make it more enjoyable for average golfers and beginners alike.
One of these is a teeing ground called Enjoy Tee. By shortening the hole distance, even beginners and female golfers have a chance to get a par or a bogey. After all, even beginners want to get a par and a bogey. It's no fun if your scorecard is filled with double bogeys and scores worse. Rather, we want players to experience the joy of getting a par or a bogey. This way, even if their shots are still at a beginner level, they can learn the joy of scoring and how to improve their score.
This is also an important thing.
