We bring you a report on our experience at Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo, a popular spot for families located just a 5-minute drive from SEAGAIA.
Miyazaki City Phoenix Natural Zoo is sure to be a fun place to spend the whole day meeting lots of animals, playing in the amusement park, and swimming in the pool.
Why not take your family there this summer vacation?

Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo is the place to be when it comes to summer! The lazy river is open again this year! In addition to the 200m lazy river, children's pool, and toddler pool, there are also three water slides, a slide for small children, and a fountain area, making it a great place for the whole family to enjoy. (*We were given special permission to take photos before the zoo opened.)
We immediately tried the water slide! The longest of the three slides (blue) was full of thrills as it twisted and turned around! (※Not suitable for people under 120cm tall)
For small children, there are three cute slides in red, blue, and yellow set up in the children's pool. Surprisingly, adults might enjoy them too (lol).
The zoo's lazy river can be used with just the admission fee. If you're going to Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo during the summer holidays, don't forget your swimsuit! 1

In the African Garden, we met giraffes, zebras, and ostriches! It was a rare experience to be able to see giraffes so close.
Phantom the Sumatran tiger was resting in the shade of a tree because it was so hot, but we were still able to see his handsome face!
We were able to witness the "Grand Goat Parade" which takes place twice a day, with about 50 goats running through the park at the same time. It was so cute to see them running so hard!

We went to the very popular Honey Hatch. Even though I'm not good with thrilling rides, I had a great time!!
There are also 13 other play equipment that can be enjoyed by children from 2 years old to adults, including a nostalgic merry-go-round and sky tower.

At the restaurant "ZOO Terrace," you can enjoy curry rice, set meals, children's menus, drinks, soft serve ice cream, and more. This time, I ordered the Chicken Nanban & Fried Chicken set meal, and the chilled miso soup and Zaru Soba set. It was delicious ♪ And it was cool!
There is also a shop next to the restaurant, with lots of cute animal merchandise, which got me excited.
