Japan Heritage Festival in Southern Miyazaki: November 7th (Sat) and 8th (Sun)

"Japan Heritage" refers to a collection of stories that summarize the history and culture of various regions, certified by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. The only Japan Heritage site in Miyazaki Prefecture is "Monuments of Ancient People - A Landscape of Ancient Tombs in Southern Miyazaki, Painting Pictures on the Plateau," which comprises the Saitobaru Tumulus Cluster (Saito City), the Ikime Tumulus Cluster and Hasugaike Cave Tombs (Miyazaki City), the Nittabaru Tumulus Cluster (Shintomi Town), and the Mochida Tumulus Cluster (Takanabe Town). This November, the "Japan Heritage Festival," bringing together Japan Heritage sites from all over the country, will be held in Miyazaki Prefecture for the first time. This is a rare opportunity to experience the charm of Japan Heritage sites from all over the country all at once. Admission is free! Everyone is welcome.
