Cape Toi
Located at the southernmost tip of Miyazaki Prefecture, Cape Toi juts out into the Pacific Ocean, where Misaki horses have been bred in the same way for around 300 years since the Edo period. These purebred native Japanese horses have been designated a national natural monument. Spring is birthing season, so you might even be able to spot some cute spring foals.
