Otsukaen's cold Shiraori tea - down to the last drop

We will carefully brew and serve you deep-steamed tea from Otsukaen, a Japanese tea specialty store in Kawaminami-cho, Miyazaki Prefecture. "Shiraori" is a type of kukicha made using the stems and leaf husks that are left over from the process of making sencha. Kukicha has a refreshingly clean taste and a sweetness, and the first brew has a clean flavor of the tea leaves, while the second brew has a richer, more savory flavor, and the flavor is concentrated down to the last drop in the glass. Shiraori tea, made by Otsukaen, a long-established tea store in Kawaminami-cho, Miyazaki Prefecture, is ideal for cold-brewing tea leaves, and the longer it cools, the more you can enjoy the unique sweetness of kukicha. ■ Price / 800 yen (1 teapot) *You can enjoy up to the second brew
