In order to promote the creation of an attractive city as a tourist destination, and to secure funding for improving the environment for receiving tourists and enhancing tourism resources, Miyazaki City has decided to introduce an accommodation tax.

Regarding the amount of accommodation tax

200 yen per person per night
*Regardless of the guest's age, a lodging fee (facility usage fee) will be charged and is therefore subject to taxation.

Regarding payment

As a general rule, please pay at the front desk.
Even for reservations where accommodation fees have been paid in advance, you may still be required to make a payment at the front desk.
Since the handling of your booking varies depending on the details of your application (travel package, etc.), please contact your travel agency or booking website for further information.

Important Notes

• When using points from each booking site, the accommodation fee will be calculated based on the price before any discounts are applied, and therefore will be subject to tax.
• If you use an invitation ticket purchased as a gift, it will be subject to taxation.
• Even if you made your reservation before July 1, 2026, it will be subject to taxation.
