Hello.
PHOENIX SEAGAIA RESORT.

This is Fujita from SEAGAIA public relations department and newsletter editor. Enticed by the gentle spring sunshine, I decided to treat myself to a slightly luxurious lunch. I recently enjoyed the new course menu that started in April at Ristorante ARCO, a restaurant that appears to float on the horizon.

An open dining area overlooking the sky and the sea.
The moment you step inside the store, the blue sea and sky spread out before your eyes.
Soft light streams in through the large windows, and the gently curving arches of the space instantly put you at ease.
I experienced the chef's recommended lunch course.
The course menu, from appetizers to dessert, features seasonal ingredients from Miyazaki.
The appeal of this restaurant lies in the fact that you can choose pasta, fish dishes, and main meat dishes according to your mood that day, allowing you to create your own personalized course.
This time, we'll introduce some of the editor's recommended dishes.

The moment it arrives, the gorgeous dish immediately catches your eye. Five kinds of appetizers are beautifully arranged, making even the time spent deciding what to order a delightful experience. The carpaccio of Shimaura sea bream is complemented by the refreshing acidity of the tomato salsa sauce, which enhances its elegant sweetness, while the Kijon mountain pork ham, served with baguette and cream cheese, offers a rich and flavorful taste. Each bite lifts your spirits.
What impressed me the most was the strawberry and mozzarella caprese. The sweet and sour strawberries and creamy cheese, combined with the richness of the balsamic sauce, created a light dish that felt like both a dessert and an appetizer.

Tagliatelle with Aya Grape Pork Ragù Bianca
After the appetizers, it was time to choose from the pasta. With five different types of pasta laid out on a board, the staff carefully explained their shapes, textures, and even the sauces they paired with. After much deliberation, I chose the "Aya Grape Pork Ragù Bianca Tagliatelle"!
The gentle flavor of slowly simmered pork spreads throughout. The "Ragù Bianca" (Bianca means "white" in Italian), finished with white wine and aromatic vegetables, is simple yet profound, and it coats the flat, fresh pasta beautifully.

Pappardelle with Sadohara eggplant and ricotta in tomato sauce
Here's another pasta dish recommended by the ARCO staff! The juicy Sadohara eggplant and the creaminess of the ricotta cheese, combined with the just-right acidity of the tomato sauce, make for a light and enjoyable dish.
Sole Saltimbocca with white wine, glass de viande, and risotto
For the fish dish, I chose sole, which is highly recommended by the ARCO staff.
The moist flesh, combined with the aroma of white wine and the rich sauce, creates a satisfying experience with every bite. Squeezing lemon over it instantly transforms the flavor into something lighter.
Beef fillet tagliata with Marsala sauce
I was torn between beef and pork for the main course, but I went with beef this time. The beef fillet was moist and tender, and the flavor spread with every bite. The richness, subtle sweetness, and fragrant aroma of the Marsala sauce combined to create a taste that made me reach for another bite without even realizing it.

Grilled Aya Grape Pork Loin with Black Pepper Sauce
Although I chose beef, I'd also like to introduce pork as a special treat! The thick slices of pork loin are eye-catching. Not only is it visually impressive, but it's also very satisfying to eat, making it a truly fulfilling dish.
Desserts add a touch of elegance to the after-dinner moments. In particular, the Bonet chocolate offers a sophisticated flavor where the richness of chocolate is complemented by the fragrant aroma of almonds, creating a pleasant bittersweet taste. It paired perfectly with coffee!
The scenery, the atmosphere, and the food.
Enjoying lunch with all five senses naturally fills your heart with satisfaction.
Why not spend a slightly special time at ARCO this spring?
As the name "ARCO" suggests, meaning "arch," the shop features a series of different arches, and the scenery and light change each time you pass through them.
It was like stepping into a story.
Enjoy Italian cuisine in a space where medieval charm and modern sensibilities resonate together.
Enjoy a light lunch and a leisurely dinner.
The time spent here will quietly become etched in my memory.
