Today, we'll be introducing the crab dishes available at the dinner buffet at Garden Buffet "PINE TERRACE", and sharing a report on our experience of the all-you-can-eat steamed snow crab.

The Crab Fair is being held at five stores in PHOENIX SEAGAIA OCEAN TOWER. This time, we will introduce some of the editor's recommended dishes from the crab fair menu offered at dinner at Pine Terrace, a buffet-style restaurant where you can enjoy Miyazaki, a treasure trove of food, cooked in a variety of ways!

There is a wide variety of crab dishes lined up, including charcoal-grilled crab shoulder, steamed crab in thickened sauce soup, and crab and chilimen garlic rice, and the aroma of crab will fill the air just as you pass by the counter, whetting your appetite.

|
"Sundubu with Crab and Homemade Tofu" is served in December and February. Hotpot is the perfect dish for the cold season! This dish warms the body with a spicy soup infused with snow crab stock, and is filled with shimeji mushrooms, white onions, and clams.

The soup is quite spicy, so be careful if you don't like spicy food or if you have children!

This is "Spaghetti with Tomato Cream and Crab and Small Shrimp." The texture of snow crab flakes and small shrimp, along with the umami of the slightly sour tomato cream, combine with the noodles to create a luxurious dish.
|

Of course, we also got some local dishes, such as Pine Terrace's famous Miyazaki beef roast beef, chicken nanban, and charcoal-grilled chicken. Our luxurious plate was complete! Let's start eating!

|
The one I was most interested in was the crab and shrimp miso ramen. The moment you put it in your mouth, the fragrant aroma of crab and shrimp fills your mouth. The miso soup, which is rich and thick with plenty of dashi stock, has a slightly sweet taste. It clings well to the medium-thick noodles, bringing out the full flavor of the ingredients. You can also add rice to the remaining soup to make it more like rice porridge, which is delicious!

"Charcoal Grilled Crab Shoulder Meat" is slowly grilled over charcoal. This is the simplest way to enjoy snow crab, which becomes sweeter when heated. The densely packed shoulder meat does not require any extra seasoning! It is sweet enough as it is, and the exquisite flavor fills your mouth.

"Steamed egg custard with thick bean paste" is a simple chawanmushi made with crab flakes and kelp stock. The piping hot, thick bean paste locks in the flavor of the crab, and the elegant umami slowly seeps into your mouth.

Now it's time to try it! When you dip the plump shelled crab meat into the crab vinegar, the delicate sweetness and rich flavor spread all at once.

This is a portion for two. This amount is enough to fill you up! You can have as many refills as you like until you get your money's worth! That's what's great about it.

Of course, it's delicious just as it is. By the time I finished eating, I felt like I had become a crab-peeling master.
|
- Separate the body and legs. The soft joints make it easier to cut.
- Make a slit 1-2cm below the joint of the leg where the thick meat is (and also on the other side). Be careful not to cut the whole thing off.
- Move your hand slightly along the cut you made, as if separating it, and gently pull the meat out of the shell. The meat will come out cleanly with a "pop!"
